The first part is an example of two photographsthat that I merged.
The sunset image has the foreground dark and underexposed.
The village photo has the sky extremely overexposed.
Together they create
a picture that reproduces what our eyes would actually see.
The second set of pictures shows a restoration project.
The original cardboard image (circa 1900) was quite damaged.
The close-up oval shows a portion of the repaired photo.
The outer edges of the final image were left with some damage intentionally.
